EXPERT WORKSHOP
The journey towards an optimum business communication
environment begins with the Expert Workshop.
With 19 years experience in designing, implementing
and managing TDM, hybrid and now current unified/collaborative
communication solutions, Touchbase works with each of
its clients to help them identify how to best provide
their users with collaborative tools and drive maximum
business value from them.
The majority of companies that Touchbase works with
are in one of the following current situations:
 |
Legacy TDM
Legacy, disparate TDM technologies with
no adoption or focus around Unified Communication
tools/applications. |
 |
Unified Communications/Legacy TDM
Part legacy, disparate TDM technologies (Avaya,
Nortel) and part new communication platforms such
as Cisco CUCM/Microsoft. |
 |
Unified Communications
Fully deployed Unified Communications platform with
some collaborative tools but all operating independently
of each other. |
In most cases where change is required to drive significant
improvements in the user experience, customer experience
and operational efficiency, there is no shortage of
ideas around what needs to be done. Constructing a clear
strategy around collaboration, customer contact and
broadcast communications, making the right choice of
technologies to support the technology, justifying the
investment in the technologies and then building a clear
migration and management plan, are the challenges that
companies face.
The Expert Workshop helps organisations understand
and plan a business communication strategy and detail
what impact this could have on their business. The purpose
of an Expert Workshop is to commit resources from both
sides (Touchbase and Client) to deeply understand specific
issues associated with an organisation’s current
communications technology. Through specifically analysing
the existing situation and technology, and how it serves
the business requirement, the session assists the client
by providing detail around how to best align what they
have today, and any new collaborative tools required,
with the business need.
The result of the workshop is a jointly designed,
justified and mutually invested communication strategy
that demonstrates how business need can be met through
the use of existing and new communications tools. This
will ensure that any short term investments are made
in the context of a longer term plan, helping to eradicate
waste and promote consolidation and consistency from
the outset. With this information the client is prepared
to enter the next stage of implementing a communication
environment, whether it works with Touchbase through
the Engagement Model or chooses
another direction
