Video & web conferencing connects 1400 people across 11 countries for connectivity tech company

MANCHESTER, UK - Touchbase has signed a DESIGN, DELIVER and OPTIMISE deal for a leading provider of connectivity, audio and location platforms. This company's technologies are enhancing consumer experience worldwide through products delivered by market leaders in the mobile phone, automotive, consumer and computer industries.
Headquartered in the UK the connectivity technology company employs more than 1400 people in 11 countries.
In 2005 the connectivity technology company took a decision to deploy Alcatel PBXs across all of their offices. In 2009 the company acquired a leading GPS chipset and software manufacturer based in Silicon Valley, who came with a degree of Cisco IPT incumbency. This led the connectivity technology company to undertake a review and consolidation of its voice platforms. Working with Touchbase the connectivity technology company now has a clear vision for the future of its communication technology on a global scale. Over the coming months Touchbase is implementing an end to end global Cisco solution that includes a host of productivity and efficiency enhancing Collaboration technologies, namely:
- IP Telephony (with single number reach)
- Web Conferencing
- Visual Communication
- Messaging
- Desktop Integration
- Routing & Switching
All these technologies will be run from a centralised server cluster serving all global locations and mobile & remote workers.
